Elemental work celebrates the story of the tree. The raw compositions, the swirling grain, the character of a split, the weight of years held in a single slab define these pieces. The concept behind this work is for it to appear as if it’s never been touched by human hand, but in truth it’s been carefully manipulated by tools and directed by a keen eye. The life of the tree is not erased. It is preserved, with the story intact.
